Of the new hotels, 2,000 are small or budget hotels, allowing travel agents greater scope to tailor solutions to the varied needs of travellers.

Small hotels and budget accommodation have been in short supply on the Amadeus booking system, but since October last year the choice has increased by 38 percent. With the addition of the new hotels, there are now a total of 75,000 hotels on the system.
