The largest Nordic online travel agent eTRAVELi chooses Amadeus
European Travel Interactive (eTRAVELi), the largest Nordic online travel agent, recently signed a contract with Amadeus. Seat24 and SRG Online, which are part of eTRAVELi, therewith gain access to the Amadeus global distribution system.
By utilising Amadeus Web Services and the Amadeus booking system, eTRAVELi will gain access to the rich offering in the Amadeus booking system, the platform for over 500 airlines, 75,000 hotels and over 30 car hire companies.
According to the contract, companies tied to eTRAVELi will also be able to utilise Amadeus Master Pricer Calendar, which enables customers to book journeys by entering several different dates in the booking system. The system then finds tickets at the best possible price for the specified period.
The contract with eTRAVELi now means that all Europe’s leading online agents use the Amadeus booking system. eTRAVELi, with a presence on 15 markets in Europe, grew by 50 per cent in 2007 and is forecast continued strong growth in 2008.
